A motorbike show went horribly wrong in Glasgow when “three members of the audience” were badly injured in a stunt performed by the Nitro Circus team.<\/p>\n
Thousands had packed into the Hydro Arena on Thursday the 5th<\/sup> of February to watch the spectacle and as part of one stunt, “three members of the audience” were picked to take part in a stunt which would see all three plus a rider perform a back flip at the top of a large ramp. In a statement released by Nitro Circus it reads <\/p>\n \n“During Thursday night’s Nitro Circus Live show at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena, two passengers who sustained injuries during a four-person motorbike back-flip attempt were transported to a nearby hospital.<\/p>\n Nitro Circus considers health and safety its top priority and has expert medical staff on site in the event of an emergency.”\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n It has been reported on the BBC website that those riders taking part in the stunt “announced as audience members, were actually stuntmen.”<\/p>\n You can view the full video of the stunt below…<\/p>\n

\nHowever, as the bike reached the top of the ramp it appeared to stall and roll backwards and then fell off the side of the ramp. Two of the passengers were injured – one seriously after the full force of the bike landed on his face, breaking his jaw.<\/p>\n
